A live-wire attacking midfielder, Merouane Zemmama arrived at Easter Road aged 22 and came armed with a lot of big game experience from his home country of Morocco.
The man who would affectionately be dubbed 'Zouma' by the Hibernian faithful had to wait two months before he was eligible to play for the Leith side as he awaited a work permit.
However the Moroccan magician would go on to play his part in a side that helped Hibernian end the wait for a trophy by securing the Scottish League Cup in 2007. With a bag of tricks and a pass that could unlock the meanest of defences, the midfielder certainly slotted in with some of the best talent of the modern era.
10 years on from the emphatic 5-1 victory against Kilmarnock in the Scottish League Cup Final, Zemmama shares his memories of that day at Hampden and what he remembers about singing for Hibernian.
