McAllister spent four years at Easter Road, where his first campaign saw him play a part in the team that got to the 1993 League Cup Final – only to lose to an Ally McCoist inspired Rangers side.
Affectionately known as Crunchie, McAllister is regarded as a club legend at Falkirk, after spending 10 years at the football side over four spells. He was voted 'Player of the Millennium' by Bairns fans, a somewhat lofty title for the diminutive winger.
McAllister made 126 appearances for Hibernian, scoring 15 goals, and providing numerous assists, including a cross for Michael O’Neill to head in the opening goal in a 2-1 victory over Hearts in 1996.
