Position Midfielder
Brian Hamilton lifted the 1987 Scottish Cup with St Mirren before winning the League Cup for Hibs four years later.
Hamilton was a hard-working, intelligent footballer who was a vital cog in an excellent Hibernian midfield and, although occasionally undervalued amongst a section of the Hibernian support, his contribution to the team was very much appreciated by his manager and teammates.
After leaving Hibs, Brian crossed the city and was a member of the Hearts squad that lost 5-1 to Rangers in the 1996 Scottish Cup Final and later injury prevented him representing Falkirk against Kilmarnock in the 1997 final.
