International debut 10th October 2014 (versus Cyprus)
Marciano signed for Ashdod in 2008, making over 120 league appearances for the Israeli club. On 7th July 2015, he signed a season-long loan deal with Belgian club Royal Excel Mouscron.
Despite red tape holding up his eligibility for a move to Hibernian, Marciano explained that he was sold on a move to Scotland by fellow Israeli and Celtic player Nir Bitton.
Red tape was eventually cleared and Marciano made his debut for the club on the 27th August 2016 in a 4–0 win against Greenock Morton. Overall, the goalkeeper made 21 league appearances in his debut season as Hibernian clinched the 2016/17 Scottish Championship, therefore earning promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
Marciano put in some key performances during the 2016/17 season when it has mattered most. His performance against Hearts in the Scottish Cup at Tynecastle was impressive on a difficult day for Hibernian, making important saves from Esmael Goncalves and Bjorn Johnsen. Another vital display was against Dunfermline a couple of weeks later in a 2-2 draw at Easter Road, when he made three magnificent saves in the second half as the Pars threatened to secure the three points. He made one of the best saves of the season down at Ayr in November when he managed to contort his body and claw away a close-range header at a key moment in the match.
Following his impressive debut season in Leith, Hibernian managed to secure the services of Marciano permanently after the goalkeeper signed a four year deal in June 2017.
After announcement of his permanent contract, Marciano said, "I am delighted to be back at Hibernian.
"Last year was an amazing experience playing in front of the fans at Easter Road - it is a privilege to play in front of them every week and we will be working hard to make them happy again this season."
"I wanted to become a better player when I came here and I think I did that. That's why I wanted to come back to Hibs - I have everything I need here to become a better player."
Marciano made his international debut on 10th October 2014, as Israel won 2–1 against Cyprus in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying. In March 2017 during his debut season at Hibernian, the goalkeeper featured in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match defeat against Spain.
