During his time with the Hibernian, Duncan Urquhart would win his solitary Scotland cap, playing in a 1934 British Home Championship match against Wales.

A "tough tackler" from Newton Stewart, Urquhart was signed by Hibs during the 1929/30 season.
He was part of the Hibernian side that were relegated the following season, but then gained promotion to play top flight football in season 1933/34.
Duncan won his only cap for Scotland against Wales in a 1933 British Home Championship match, the Welsh emerging victorious 3-2.
In 1935, Urquhart was released by Hibernian following a heavy Edinburgh derby defeat by Hearts. He would then sign for Aberdeen before playing at Barrow.
