The Hibernian Historical Trust is a proactive initiative by both supporters and the Club to protect, preserve and promote the heritage of Hibernian.
Formed on a voluntary basis by a group of supporters, the legally recognised Trust has been created independently from Hibernian Football Club but with the full backing of the Board.
Since its formation in the Cowgate area of Edinburgh in 1875, Hibernian Football Club has been at the forefront of the Scottish game, often leading the way in many innovative developments. A rich seam of tradition, heritage and drama has coursed through the veins of the club since its humble beginnings in St Mary's Street.
The Trust are therefore proactive in promoting this rich and diverse history.
